Bobs Long Walk is a resource for all those that are hoping to study Zoology or work in field research. By sharing my own experiences I hope to provide a relaxed step-by-step description of my own journey to become a primate researcher.
Currently I am an MRes student study landscape ecology & primatology, I will be undertaking my first field research expedition in 2016 for around 8 months. I will be providing advice and my own experiences of research as and when it happens.
I hope Bobs Long Walk can also be used as an educational tool for anyone interested in animals. By sharing and publishing regular posts regarding global conservation practices, case studies, ethical questions in conservation and day to day appreciation of biodiversity I hope to establish a network of those studying conservation and those interested in learning more or entering the field.
Why not subscribe to keep up to date with Bobs Long Walk as the blog advances or follow my work on twitter @researchrob1.
